Get your resume roasted before a recruiter does.
Paste your resume and get the whole roast free — an ATS score out of 100, a section-by-section teardown, and concrete fixes. No paywall on the diagnosis. Want it done for you? We rewrite the entire resume and hand back a finished document, not a list of fixes to apply yourself — $9, once.
How this is different
There are plenty of AI resume roasters. Here is what changes here.
And we never invent achievements to pad your resume. Where a number is needed and only you know it, the rewrite marks the spot instead of making one up — a fabricated metric is the thing that falls apart in the interview.
What you get
One paste. Four verdicts, free. Then the finished resume if you want it done for you.
ATS Score (0–100)
How well your resume survives the applicant tracking software that screens it before a human ever reads it. Paste the job posting too and it scores against that job.
The Roast
3–5 specific weak points, called out honestly — buzzwords, missing numbers, formatting that parsers choke on.
What's Working
Your genuine strengths, so you know exactly what to keep when you rewrite.
Rewrite Tips + Pro Tip
Concrete, specific suggestions to fix the weak spots — plus one killer career tip to take with you.
The Rewritten Resume
$9 · one-timeNot a list of suggestions — the finished document. Every section rewritten to lead with achievements and parse cleanly through an ATS, plus what changed and why, and the keywords you are missing. Download as .md or .txt. We never invent numbers for you — the handful of spots only you can fill get marked. No subscription.
What a roast looks like
Not a mock-up. This is the agent's actual output on a made-up resume — every section, nothing held back.
"A product manager who can't ship a good resume — this thing is all roadmap, zero delivery."
The Roast
- That summary is so generic it could apply to a barista, a Navy SEAL, or a golden retriever. "Results-oriented AND detail-oriented"? You used two filler buzzwords in the same breath. ATS doesn't care, and humans actively cringe.
- Where are the numbers? You "drove significant improvements" — significant like 2% or significant like you saved the company from collapse? Without metrics, you're just a person who showed up. Quantify everything: revenue, retention, users, velocity, launch timelines. Everything.
- "Helped drive," "Assisted in," "Participated in" — your bullet points read like someone who was in the building when things happened, not someone who made things happen. This is a Senior PM resume that sounds like an intern's apology letter.
- "Spearheaded various strategic initiatives" is the corporate equivalent of saying "I did some stuff sometimes." VARIOUS. INITIATIVES. Name them. What product? What outcome? What changed because you existed?
- Your education section is doing the absolute bare minimum — no relevant coursework, certifications, or even a graduation year that's formatted to show you've kept learning. For a 2017 grad in tech, a lone BA in Communications with zero upskilling signals "coasted."
What's Working
- Solid 7-year career progression from APM to Senior PM at recognizable companies — the trajectory is genuinely strong and tells a coherent story.
- Skills section includes real tools (JIRA, Confluence, Figma, SQL) that ATS systems will actually scan for — good instinct there.
- Consistent formatting and clean structure means a recruiter won't rage-quit before reading it.
- Staying at Cascade for 5 years across two roles signals loyalty and growth, which hiring managers love to see.
Rewrite Tips
Start by nuking that summary and replacing it with a 2-3 line punch that names your specialty, your scale, and your impact. Something like: "Senior Product Manager with 7 years building B2B SaaS products. Led 0-to-1 launches and scaled features to 50K+ enterprise users at Northwind Digital and Cascade Software Group. Known for turning ambiguous problems into shipped product with measurable outcomes." See how that's different? It's specific, it's confident, and it doesn't insult the reader's intelligence.
For every bullet point, apply the formula: Action Verb + What You Did + Result With a Number. "Spearheaded various strategic initiatives" becomes "Defined and launched 3 core product initiatives in 2023, reducing customer churn by 18% and increasing NPS from 32 to 47." You may need to dig through your memory or old performance reviews, but those numbers exist — go find them. If you truly can't recall exact figures, use ranges or approximations and note them honestly.
Finally, add a certifications or continuing education section. A PSPO, PMC, or even a Google PM certificate signals to ATS and hiring managers that you invest in your craft. Also consider breaking your skills section into categories (Core PM Skills | Tools | Data & Analytics) — it reads faster and scans better for both humans and bots.
Pro Tip
Go to the job descriptions of your top 5 target roles, copy them into a word cloud tool, and find the exact keywords they repeat most. Then audit your resume to make sure those exact phrases appear naturally in your bullets — not just in the skills section. ATS systems are dumb pattern matchers; beat them at their own game before a human ever sees your name.
That is the whole free roast. No email, no account.

Apply the rewrite tips yourself, paste the new version, and watch the score climb. Free, and your daily runs are enough for a full edit loop.
Or skip the loop — have it rewritten for you
Don't want to do the editing? For $9 the agent applies every fix itself and returns the finished resume — every section rewritten, downloadable as .md or .txt. One-time, no subscription.
Why a roast beats resume tips
Generic resume advice tells you to "use action verbs" and "quantify achievements." You've read that article. Your resume still isn't getting callbacks, and nobody will tell you why — friends are too polite, and recruiters don't send feedback, they send silence.
A roast is different: it looks at your actual resume and names the specific lines that are hurting you. Most large employers screen applications with ATS software before a human reads them, so the roast starts with an ATS compatibility score — then covers what a human skimming for six seconds will and won't see. Brutal on the page, so the interview isn't.
Frequently asked questions

What does the $9 rewrite actually give me?
What is an ATS score?
Two honest caveats. It is not a reading from any particular ATS — every vendor scores differently, and none of them publish their rules, so anyone claiming to reproduce a specific one is guessing. And because it is a judgement rather than a measurement, running the same resume twice can move it a few points; we measured a spread of about four on an unchanged resume. Treat it as a direction, not a verdict. The roast underneath it is the part that tells you what to actually change.
